Test your fertility from home

The London Egg Bank home fertility test has been created by our own experts and can be performed quickly and easily at home using a finger-prick blood sample kit which we send to you by post

The Fertility Test Kit £95

The kit includes

  • A pin-prick blood test checking AMH levels
  • A fertility questionnaire including medical and lifestyle history
  • A telephone consultation with a fertility expert to interpret your results

What can this tell you?

The fertility test checks your ovarian reserve and is applicable to anyone who wants to know more about their fertility status. The test measures a hormone called anti – Müllerian hormone (AMH), which provides one of the most reliable measures of ovarian reserve.

Who is our test kit for?

Our aim is to help you take full control of your health and fertility, empowering you to make informed decisions about your future fertility. Whether you want a clearer picture of your fertility, you're considering freezing your eggs or you wish to prepare for pregnancy, our fertility test kit will give you valuable information for your next steps. If you are considering freezing your eggs or IVF, the AMH test will indicate how you're likely to respond to treatment.

How does it work?

Fertility Home Testing

Create an account with your basic details and a test will be sent to you by post. It will usually arrive within 3 days.

The kit contains easy-to-follow instructions to take the test in your home. You can take this test at any point in your menstrual cycle. Use the Freepost return envelope to send it directly to our laboratory.

A few days after you submit your blood sample, we will contact you to schedule your consultation with our fertility expert. Following your consultation, you will receive your test results and report.

What’s involved?

Our fertility consultant will take the consultation by phone or video call, reviewing your completed questionnaire.

Your AMH results will be explained within a reference range according to your age.

If you’re interested in freezing your eggs for fertility preservation, AMH is the simplest test to see if the treatment will be suitable for you. Further tests and an antral follicle count scan (to provide additional information) may be suggested, dependent on the AMH results.

We’ll follow up with the next steps, a plan of action and support tailored for you.
