London Egg Bank offers an Embryo Creation Package for patients who want to use our egg donors for treatment in another clinic. We can create an embryo with donor eggs from our bank and then transfer frozen embryos to your clinic.
When patients choose to use donor eggs within our clinics, this allows us to control every aspect of the laboratory and donor treatment processes. As a result, we can provide patients with a full guarantee that their donor eggs will be treated with the expert level of care required. Since each laboratory has its own protocols and varying egg thaw success rates, we cannot offer this same guarantee when shipping donor eggs to an external clinic.
To minimize these risks, we’ve developed an ‘embryo creation’ package for our patients. Once a suitable donor is selected, we arrange for the delivery of a sperm sample, allowing us to create embryos in our state-of-the-art laboratories. When ready, the embryos are then sent to the external clinic ready for treatment. We can ship donor eggs directly to an external clinic without any guarantee.
We manage the egg donation process from start to finish to ensure the highest quality of eggs. As a result of our consistent and reliable approach, many healthy babies have been born through frozen eggs. Our success rates show you our focused approach really works.

Our friendly team will book a consultation for you with one of our fertility consultants. We will review your medical history, our success rates, and broader implications and recommend the best course of treatment for you. If a male partner is involved, he will have some blood tests and we will perform a semen analysis (unless this has been already done), and freeze samples for future use if needed. Also, we provide counselling sessions for our patients who are considering using donor eggs.
Our dedicated egg donation coordinator will introduce you to our online donor database and personalised matching service to help with choosing your perfect donor. Once a donor is chosen and agreed upon, you'll complete consents so that you can start treatment. If your chosen donor is a genetic carrier, we will walk you through the process and provide you with the information you need to make informed decisions.
Donor eggs will be fertilised with sperm from a male partner or sperm donor. We will culture embryos until they reach the blastocyst stage at day five or six. Suitable embryos will be frozen and later transported to the clinic you are planning to have a treatment. You will be updated by our senior embryologist on the progress of your embryos and the progress of arranging embryo shipment to your clinic.
You’ll be in good hands and looked after by an expert team who is at the forefront of pioneering treatment.

Our egg donors are recruited from within the UK, and they have all donated eggs after passing our rigorous screening process in line with HFEA standards
Our screening process ensures that they meet the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) requirements. Our donors must also pass extensive medical, genetic and psychological assessments.
We treat all our donors as individuals and offer a high level of care in recognition of their remarkable kindness. But if we look collectively at the wonderful group of women who have donated eggs to our database, we can tell you some of their common characteristics.
79% of our donors are educated to degree level or above, come from a wide range of backgrounds and ethnicities. Their main motivation for donating their eggs is a wish to help others, for a variety of different reasons.
