I decided to donate my eggs because I believe having or not having a child should be a choice for all women. I knew by donating my eggs I was giving a woman that choice. When I was searching for an egg donor bank, I read really good reviews online about London Egg Bank and there was their clinic in my town. I don’t think I would have had such a positive egg donor experience anywhere else.

I started with a few appointments for blood tests and scans, and I was told what the rest of the egg donation process would look like. After I was given the green light, we could start the injections, which were much smaller than I expected and painless. They barely impacted my life. Finally, I took a day off work for the egg collection, which was over in 20 minutes plus an hour to recover from the anaesthetic. It was all very simple and I had no pain or side effects other than a bit of bloating.
